Eligibility Criteria of DEE Assam Assistant Teacher Posts
Educational Qualification
- For Teachers in Upper Primary School: Graduation Degree in relevant Subject and UPTET or B.ed or D.ed.
- For Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School: higher secondary or equivalent with at least 50% with LP TET and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or Graduate Degree recognized from UGC with LT TET and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Age Limit
The minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 43 years as on 01-01-2016. The age relaxation in upper age limit has given to SC/ST/PH by govt. of Assam.
Selection Process
The selection method for the job is Written Exam and Personal Interview.
Application Fees
For applying for the post the applicants have to pay Rs 200/- (Rs.100 for SC/ST) as application fees. The BPL candidates have no need to pay application fees.
Salary Offered
The pay band is Rs. 5200/-to Rs. 20200/- with grade pay.

The applicants have to submit the self-attested copy of the following documents with the hard copy of the Application form at the time of Document verification.
- Mark sheet of H. S. (Senior Secondary)/ Graduation Examination. Pass Certificate of H. S. / Graduation Examination Pass Certificate of H. S. L. C./ H. S. L. C.
- Admit Card in support of age.
- Certificate and Mark sheet of TET.
- Certificate and Mark sheet of DElEd.
- Certificates in support of Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe (Plains or Hills) / OBC / MOBC.
- Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities. Certificate of NCC (B & C Category only), Sports and Cultural.
