NTSE Scholarship Application FormNational Council of Education Research and Training is aimed at contributing to the encouragement and betterment of educational foundation in India. Every year meritorious students are selected on the basis of their performance in the National Talent Search Exam. The scholarship amount is awarded to the exceptional ones in order to provide them financial assistance for further educational opportunities. As this test is conducted at a national level, but there are some certain conditions to be fulfilled by the students before applying for this exam. All the necessary information and details have been mentioned below.

As per the latest news, candidates are hereby informed that they can now apply for Mental ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) by filling NTSE Scholarship Application Form 2016 and avail the benefits from the scheme. The application forms need to be filled by the students which can be obtained from State or Union Territory Officer. After filling the form, it has to be approved and attested by the School Principal and to be sent back to the Officer. To avail this application format, 10th standard students need to visit the state wise official website as given by the education Board. They need to start preparing for the upcoming exams that will be held on 08-05-2016 and later in November this year.

NTSE Scholarship Talent Search Exam Scheme 2016

  • To apply for this exam and avail the benefits, candidates must be pursuing class 10th from any affiliated Government or Private School.
  • Provided students are regular in attending school session with regular attendance record.

Age limit

There is no upper or lower age limit to appear in the exam.

Selection Process

Candidates will be considered on the basis of overall performance in the written exams.

Language Test is designed to judge the power of reading comprehension, logical sequencing; interpretative, evaluative, predictive and creative components of language. The candidates may please carefully note that language test is to be attempted either in English or in Hindi (as per option of the candidate) at the national level NTSE.

Aptitude exam will be to judge candidate’s basic analytical and perception abilities.

Maths and other Subjects will be to assess students skills no what they have grasped from the studied subjects.

How to fill NTSE Scholarship Application Form 2016

  • Applicants interested in applying must visit the official website which is, “www.ncert.nic.in”
  • Here you can find the Download section where the proper link is available to download the application format.
  • Chose the state-wise application form and get it.
  • Take a print out of the form and fill it duly and carefully.
  • Get it attested by the School Principal and send it enclosed to the postal Address mentioned as per the state applied in.
